Elaine Litster - Harpist

Elaine performs throughout Southern California, adding beauty and elegance to weddings and special events. Her harp music is found on many recordings, including the The Moonlight Harp, and harp and flute album, Captured Moments.  Performing with orchestras and in recital settings, she is also the founding member of the Los Angeles Harp Ensemble, a professional harp quartet that was recently invited to perform for the American Harp Society Summer Institute.  Elaine’s choral harp accompanying has taken her from the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles to Carnegie Hall in New York City.  As Miss Idaho, Elaine won a talent award for her harp performance in the Miss America Pageant.  Elaine maintains a private teaching studio, and for the past 18 years, Elaine has directed Harp Extravaganza, Los Angeles’ largest spontaneous harp gathering.
